Râvi, river, southern Asia, on the Indian subcontinent, rising in the Himalayas near Chamba in Himâchal Pradesh State, northern India. The river flows west and then southwest in Punjab Province, Pakistan, for about 764 km (475 mi). Near Multân it joins the Chenâb River. The most important city on the river is Lahore, Pakistan.
